We have plans to go to South Africa and Krueger National park. Air line and Krueger Park tickets have been bought and we will be leaving for South Africa for a month in November and return in mid December.
I want to buy a moderately priced High Definition Camcorder to take it to Africa. My old camcorder is a VHS tape model and is not as good as the newer digital cameras. After making an exhaustive search I have thought of buying a CANON HG 10 HIGH DEFINITION CAMCORDER WITH OPTICAL STABILIZER. It has a 40 GB Hard drive. It’s list price is more than $1,200 and at ADORAMA and also J &R Electronics, it is available for $650. (AMAZON also). This is a less expensive camera compared with other approximately similar featured cameras. I have read about 25 reviews about this camera from people who own this camera. However, I wanted to get some input from YOU. You may have seen this camera or known someone who has it. I want to place an order for this camera after hearing your opinion.
