Need Help Converting NTSC Videos to PAL Format

Can any of our Camcorder & Video SIG members give me some information about converting my home made DVD in my computer to play abroad where they use PAL system? Is there any software that does this? I know that it is commercially converted and many places do it. What I am looking for is something that I can use in my PC to do the conversion.

    I haven’t done it. Have you “Googled” “convert NTSC DVD to PAL”? You get a lot to look through. I’ve had good luck finding similar information at http://www.videohelp.com.

    Do you have a way to check the PAL DVD after you make it (before wanting to use it in the PAL equipment)? I’m not sure how to do that.
